An experiment

Having a blog devoted primarily to my children and family life, I feel the need to experiment with a blog on other topics that interest me. I can't say for certain at this point what this blog will end up being or what its topics will be, other than that it will almost certainly include thoughts on the literature and criticism that I read (and write) for a living. Having a place to formulate thoughts and responses must necessarily be a positive experience, or so I tell myself as I prepare to engage in this particular writing experiment!
